Our client is seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst to be based in there Holborn, London office.

User Support:

• Deliver friendly, courteous, patient, timely and outstanding service to all staff.
• Maintain status records of support tasks undertaken via centralised helpdesk system.
• Support roster requires regular working on Saturday or Sunday and flexibility with early or late start to cover service desk support hours. Flexible working available within an agreed support roster managed by the Service Desk Team Leader covering essential on-site support at the London Head Office and work from home. Applications considered for those wanting 3-day or 4-day weeks.
• On occasion be available to accept and action requests made via email or mobile outside of normal business hours.

Assist the Service Desk Team Leader and other DD&T team members to:

• Provide DD&T support for all staff at Head Office, retail locations, regional offices and overseas subsidiary locations.
• Troubleshoot User issues & problems
• Coordinate retail support from established external vendors where the companies’ resources are inadequate.
• Procure and install systems and equipment for new staff and at new retail locations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of Head Office and retail DD&T systems and data.
• Maintain building access and security processes for staff
• Adhere to DD&T standards, procedures and governance
• Monitor and enforce DD&T security and access policies within the organisation
• Log in remotely to distributed locations to perform support duties
• Staff Training

Assist the Service Desk Team Leader to:

• Perform installation of hardware and software for new and existing computers and other DD&T equipment
• Research, test and evaluate industry trends and new software.
• Perform upgrades and necessary configuration changes as directed
• Liaise with established DD&T vendors as necessary during day-to-day tasks.
• Monitor performance of existing systems and equipment and recommend improvements
• Monitor and perform necessary backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity
• Ensure the DD&T Hardware and Software Asset Registers are up to date
• Reporting & Documentation
• Computer Hardware and Software and Communications Equipment Procurement, Installation, Maintenance
