IT Technician – 5193

Our client is seeking an IT Technician to be based in either their Epsom, London, or Bromsgrove Birmingham offices.

They are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including installation and maintenance of our computer systems as well as being the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT support for staff. You will have responsibility for training and coaching staff colleagues in the safe, secure, and efficient use of staff provided IT equipment, software and systems.

Key attributes they are seeking include:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field or at least 18 months’ experience in computer networks and systems administration.
• Solid grounding in systems administration using both on premise and cloud-based solutions such as Windows Server, Microsoft 355 and Azure Active Directory.
• Good knowledge of cyber security and data privacy.
• Solid understanding of relational database design principles.
• An interest in gaining experience in managing relationships with key suppliers.
• An interest in evaluating and testing new products and services.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent written skills.
• Ability to create easy to follow user guides for staff
