Our client is seeking an experience IT services Team Lead, to be situated across a number of sites in Hackney, London.

The post holder will manage the IT Services Team, as well as provide higher level technical services within the IT Service, ensuring any Technical escalations are resolved in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:

• ITIL based process documentation to Domain and Network administration
• Act as part of the change authority board (CAB) on technical changes
• Have overall responsibility for the BAU (business as usual) workload of IT Services Team
• Be responsible for managing staff who are involved in providing a range of desktop IT duties
• Ensuring that the services delivered by the IT team meet or exceed SLA points and are delivered satisfactorily
• Analysis of Servicedesk and other IT service data, in order to report on service performances (call volumes, fix times, response times etc.) to the COO and Head of IT
• Supporting the COO and Head of ICT in negotiation with IT suppliers to obtain the best possible value
• To produce monthly written reports with service statistics and KPIs, and to review these with the team at IT Service meetings
• To work with the COO and Head of ICT in providing training to staff and the IT team on core IT tasks and applications
• Work closely with the COO and Head of ICT to migrate towards hardware standardisation through the development of refresh plans and life-cycle models
• Ensure critical aspects of Cyber and Information security are configured and controlled accordingly
• Provide senior level support and guidance to ICT Systems engineer as required, and take technical ownership of the higher-level or escalated technical matters to resolution
• Ensure completion of daily, weekly, termly and annual checks to servers, client devices and network infrastructure, recording potential issues or risks on IT Projects Plan and Service Desk

Experience needed:

• Worked with an ITIL environment, providing IT services as part of a professional IT team
• Have a working experience of delivering an IT service to an SLA
• IT service or helpdesk management experience
• Delivering prompt, effective IT support into large and diverse organisation
• Experience of managing small-scale local projects
• Ability to understand and communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical staff
• Exposure to Microsoft domain networks and worked in an environment using standard network administration tools
• Ability to draft written IT reports
• Large Production Windows AD Domains
• Multi-site SCCM administration
• Virtualised Network administration in VMWare environments
• SAN administration
• Ability to maintain a strong team working ethic at all times and take the opportunity to lead-by-example
• ITIL methodologies and documentations.
• Microsoft Accredited
• Prince 2 / Other Project Qualification
