Dynamics 365 Developer – 5157

Our client is seeking an eager Dynamics 365 Developer to work predominantly remote out of their Colchester office.

As an essential member of the Systems & Support team, you will be delivering our customer digital experience. You will have the opportunity to shape the next wave of innovation for our customers, delivering a personalised web experience with automated processes enabling end-to-end digital transactions that are engaging, connected, and simple.

The roles duty:

• Your duties will involve analysing, developing and improving digital processes, whilst helping to support and maintain the system.
• Identify opportunities provided by Microsoft Dynamics to improve the efficiency and technical aspects of business processes, and lead on the collaboration with teams to identify new online customer journeys and processes or identify those that can be re-engineered and improved.
• Work alongside a Systems & Support Manager to implement a framework and set of principles for developing in Microsoft Dynamics. Lead on the creation and ongoing use of functional specifications, discovery documentation, development plans, and quality assurance checklists.
• Liaise with our Online and ICT teams to provide a consistent approach to continuously develop our online customer journeys, assist with application administration where required, and provide technical support and advice to users of IT systems that cut across multiple support teams.

Skills Desired:

• Microsoft Office365 applications ‘expert’ (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Enterprise systems technologies
• Exposure to Local Authority (or similar) legacy systems
• Dynamics 365 customisation/administration
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 customisation and administration
• Microsoft Power Platform
• SQL server or similar database querying experience
• Microsoft Azure
• An awareness of technologies used for web applications, e.g databases, backups, Content Delivery Networks, speed and search
• Understanding of agile methodology
