Our client is seeking a 2nd Line Engineer/3rd Line - IT Support Engineer to be part of their growing team, based in Mayfair, London.

Working Pattern

• Monday – Friday (Rotation rota)
• Week One : 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (early shift)
• Week Two : 12.00 pm - 8.00 pm (late shift)

Participation in the Work on call weekend Rota is compulsory which is once every month. You will be paid an additional £250.00 for the work on call shift.

You will effectively be a standby employee on the weekend shift. When there is an unexpected or emergency demand over the weekend, this strategy is used.

Job Responsibilities

• This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional with MS Server, Desktop, Active Directory and Networking skills to join a fantastic company promoting unique solutions and a hands-on approach.
• This position will be providing a mixture of 2nd/3rd line service desk/remote support (some 1st line), field support and the installation of IT projects and managed services to their growing customer base.

It is also essential to have a working knowledge and practical experience of the following:

Microsoft Desktop & Office Systems Microsoft Server and Virtualisation Technologies, Active Directory Security and Administration, GPO Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP Support of hardware, printers, desktops and Servers + laptops Email, Antivirus & Backup software Networking knowledge regarding WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, WLAN, layer 2/3 switching, Firewalls and Routers. Mobile devices/phones systems.

Key Skills:

• Active Directory
• Very high level of IT competency
• Demonstrates sound knowledge of Microsoft Active directory services
• Knowledge of current MS Server & VMware standards.
• Microsoft 365
• Hardware knowledge – desktop computers – network printers\printing – laptops.
